...a little bit of our story...

This is my husband Scott and I's breathtaking spot on Mango Playa.  When we are not in our beautiful second home of Honduras we can be found on the Western Slope of Colorado where we live in high desert surroundings with flat top mesas and rocky monuments.  We are a short drive to the east to the Rocky Mountains or a short drive to the south you are in the San Juan mountain range.  The mountains of Honduras feel like home to us.

We have always wanted a beach home in the tropics.  After some research and travel to different areas we settled here. We felt drawn to this Northern coast area of the mainland.  We followed that calling and found what we were looking for.  We love the beauty of Honduras the access to the Cayos Cachinos and Islas de Bahia (Bay Islands) only minutes offshore.  World class diving and spectacular beauty is yours to behold.   There is also the Pico Bonito National Park with the beautiful Rio Cangrejal River on its eastern border just minutes away.  We have also invested in 11 acres of riverfront property on the Rio Cangrejal.  It has an orange grove and cacao trees with views of an amazing tall rushing waterfall.  We hope you will come and see all of this pure natural unspoiled beauty that is Honduras.

We invite you to come and stay in our villa and experience all that this area has to offer.  Come and enjoy the beach and the warm Caribbean water, a cool afternoon drink on the front porch listening to the surf, the cooling gentle trade winds, or a sunset walk on the wide sandy beach...

However you choose to enjoy this beautiful place you will leave refreshed and rejuvenated and wanting to return again soon.  It is a special place that we are thrilled to be able to share with family and friends, old friends and new friends we have yet to meet.
