Welcome to Villa Del Mar Caribe

Come for a stay in our beautiful Spanish villa on private beach

Bienvenidos a nuestra villa del Mar Caribe - Welcome to our villa by the Caribbean Sea,

Villa Del Mar Caribe is our vacation villa on the North Coast of Honduras.  Our villa is on one acre with 83 ft. of beach front in very  private Mango Playa area.  To the South you have mountain views and to the North the sea and views of Cayos Cachinos.  BEAUTIFUL!

When we are not in our beautiful second home of Honduras we can be found on the Western Slope of Colorado where we live in high desert surroundings with flat top mesas and rocky monuments.  We are a short drive to the east to the Rocky Mountains or a short drive to the south you are in the San Juan mountain range.  The mountains of Honduras feel very much like home.

This is the perfect getaway to relax, unwind and rejuvenate.  You can unplug and remember what it feels like to just laze away the day, or if you like....we are about 20 minutes from the busy and friendly city of La Ceiba for shops, banks, restaurants and the nightlife of the Zona Viva.

There is so much to do while in Honduras from snorkeling and diving by the world's second largest coral reef to horseback riding, hiking in the rain forest or world class whitewater rafting on the Rio Cangrejal.  The Cayos Cachinos islands are about 25 miles from the mainland and the Bay Islands are about 40 miles offshore.  There are numerous companies that offer boat tours to these islands for diving or snorkeling.

There are many restaurants and activities close by and several within walking distance of our beach.  You can walk down the beach to Sambo Creek to a local restaurant for a fresh seafood dinner.  Or a short stroll up the beach to the east to Paradise Found Bar and Grill under the large two-story palapa where you will find the wonderful gourmet offerings of Dante' their chef.  Helen's restaurant is also available for a simple meal and is just up the beach between us and Paradise Found.  You can connect to free wi-fi at both of these locations.

There are open air produce markets everywhere in Honduras selling all the fresh produce that Honduras has to offer.  There is a bounty of  bananas, oranges, mangoes, limes and other exotic fruits fresh, vegetables and coffee a product of the local coffee plantations....  It is truly a paradise to experience in so many ways.

The Hondurans have a relaxed pace of life that you will find very inviting and enjoyable.  We invite you to come and visit this beautiful country and stay with us while you are there.  It is a bit of paradise that will delight the senses and soothe the soul.

We will do our best to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.  We can have someone meet you and lead you to the villa from the airport if you prefer (you will need to provide your own transportation, either rental car or taxi) and a local cell phone to use during your stay.

Thank you for visiting our web site!
